We do not require addresses and other contact details to make a booking (unless you want to provide these details voluntarily). The only details we require from you to make a booking are your e-mail and the details of the booking itself (i.e. number of adults, number of children, etc). In other words the only information that Travel Link collects aside from your e-mail address, is that information that you voluntarily provide to us.

We do not sell or pass on any information on our customers to other companies.

Our customer profile page allows you to update at any time the details that you provide to Travel Link including your e-mail address. You can also change your password and elect to have an automatic password sign-in when logging on to Travel Link. If you would like us to close your account permanently at any time please e-mail us.

When you book through Travel Link, the only information forwarded to the tourism operator is the minimum information necessary to confirm the booking. If you voluntarily provided additional contact details (address, phone, etc) then the tourism operator will be able to view these.

We may reveal general, non-personal data about our web site, such as total visitors, number of bookings, etc. for promotional and information purposes.

Storage of Information
We have taken many steps - from both technical and systems perspectives - to ensure that all of your information is well protected, however we also recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone.

Alerts and Cancellations
For important events that may affect your booking we will get in touch with you via e-mail and may help you make alternative arrangements.

Cookies
Travel Link will only assign a cookie to your computer if you request us to remember you login details. You can clear the cookie from your computer at any time by accessing Travel Link Support.

Communications from Travel Link
You will receive communications from Travel Link only when:

A tourism operator replies to your booking enquiry
You accept a booking vacancy (confirmation e-mail)
We may contact you by e-mail after your visit to New Zealand, and invite you to submit feed back on your experience. We will do this only once.

We do not send out promotional mailings or contact you in any other way unless you request additional information from us.
