Spacer Day Time Cruises
A variety of daytime cruises are available for visitors to Milford, on vessels ranging from the very large to the small.

Launches travel down the south side of Milford Sound, out to the Tasman Sea and return up the north side, stopping off at all points of interest.

Nearly all the cruises feature a commentary on the flora and fauna of the Sound and provide either hot meals or lunches can be purchased.

From Te Anau by scheduled coach or the comfort of your own car, you’re only 2 hours away from the launch jetty at Milford Sound.
From Queenstown by coach, the trip takes approximately 5 hours. Buses leave in plenty of time to catch an afternoon Milford Sound Cruise returning to Te Anau or Queenstown the same day.
