What
is E-commerce? |
Our definition
of E-Commerce is - the ability to carry out a transaction via the
Internet. In the tourism sector, this means the ability to enquire
about vacancies and make bookings.
 |
Who
can use Travel Link? |
We cater
for any accommodation operator, small to large, sightseeing, adventure
tourism and coach tour operators.
 |
What
about securing bookings and making payment? |
When an
enquiry is made by a customer, they are required to enter their credit
card details in order to secure the booking. In most cases, the client
then pays you directly upon arrival. If you wish, you can charge the
customer immediately if you prefer. If the reservation is cancelled
within your specified cancellation period, or the client "no shows"
then you can directly charge the client accordingly.
 |
What
if we don't have access to a computer, or the Internet? |
It doesn't
matter. In fact, you don't even have to be computer literate. If you
don't have a computer, Travel Link can maintain your product information,
on your behalf, and all communication between yourself and Travel
Link will be made via facsimile or phone.
 |
Can
we still communicate with the customer in advance? |
Yes. The
purpose of Travel Link is to deliver the booking to you. Once the
booking is secured by the clients credit card on our secure server,
you are free to provide additional information to the client if necessary.
 |
How
will people find out about my Travel Link business web page? |
Travel
Link promotes its web sites in a range of materials, such as brochures,
letterheads, newspapers, travel magazines and mostly on the Internet.
 |
Cancellations? |
The cancellation
policy for each tourism operator appears on their own web page. Cancellation
of bookings must be made either direct with the tourism operator or
via the cancellation facility on Travel Link's web site, within the
required cancellation period as it appears on your Travel Link business
web page. When bookings are cancelled outside the required cancellation
period, then the tourism operator may debit the applicable cancellation
charge against the Credit Card number, as supplied at the time the
booking was made.
 |

can I check my booking enquiries? |

Can
I edit my Travel Link business web page? |

page providing that it complies with Travel Link's terms
and conditions.
 |
